Greenfinch’s Services

Feasibility Study

Our team will review your land to identify potential sites with the best chance of gaining planning approval. We will answer all your questions regarding setup, return on investment, construction challenges, and likely planning outcomes.

This service is tailored depending on your needs, whether you’re a landowner looking to diversify your income or looking to add an annexe to your house. We will investigate your site, so you get the advice you need upfront.

In all of our feasibility studies, our architects will provide an initial site design for your review before you start on the next stage.

Planning Applications

Following on from your Feasibility Study, we will guide you through the next steps your project may require. This could include working with our architects to refine site sketches, develop designs with Burrowed, and prepare drawings and visualisations.

We may recommend a pre-application enquiry to your local authority to assess approval likelihood and confirm requirements. For smaller projects such as extensions or annexes, a householder application may be appropriate, while larger proposals involving land-use changes or new accommodation units will typically require a full planning application.

Building Control Applications

Once planning approval is granted, usually some elements of your proposal will require a building control or warrant application. In most cases, your proposed units are built-to-park home regulations.

However, the drainage and package treatment plant will require a building warrant application. We can assist you in submitting this, working alongside you and your preferred drainage/groundworks crew to get your application approved and signed off by the applicable environment regulator to discharge wastewater into the environment.
